We look, don´t see. We recognize, don´t know. We know, but we don´t stop to think why.



My relationship with nature started since I was born.

Over time, it has been reflected in my works.The appearance of plants became increasingly more present. Because of that, in this project I have undertaken the creation of a herbarium.

With it, I want to create a rapprochement. See the plants closer, and observe closer.

It is an element to think about. To see how step by step we are getting further from the natural world, which many times is lost and we have to look for it.

The herbarium contains a total of ten drawings of different wildflowers found in the outskirts of Madrid. With each drawing, we see a photogram of the same flower.

This work is treated with the utmost care and cleanliness. It is important to watch the details, and imagine the plant with the biggest realism.

The project drives us to reflect, and to rediscover a world that we have largely forgotten. Is showing us images that are close to reality, but without becoming real. Is reminding us that there are other living beings, surrounding us, but we are ignoring its existence.​
